About Jake
Photography is my way of sharing how I see and experience the world—its beauty, its character, and the moments that often go unnoticed.
I'm an Armenian-American photographer, born in Baghdad and raised in Los Angeles. My background, travels, and experiences have shaped my perspective and the way I observe the world around me.
As a self-taught photographer, I'm drawn to the beauty found in both the extraordinary and the everyday. From landscapes and street scenes to the smallest details in nature and the abstract beauty of everyday life, I find inspiration in light, texture, atmosphere, and the unexpected.
Through my work, I hope to share more than a photograph. I want to invite others to experience a place, a moment, or a feeling through my eyes.
Center Stage Photography
Alongside my fine-art work, I run Center Stage Photography, my professional photography business dedicated to capturing live performances, concerts, events, and commissioned projects.
My work has included photographing artists such as System of a Down and Serj Tankian, among others. I collaborate with musicians, promoters, event organizers, and clients to capture their stories, energy, and defining moments, placing them and their vision center stage.
